Re-use Your Invitation
There are literally thousands of ways one could re-use this magnificent invitation: bury it in a time-capsule, have it bronzed, use it as a wallet, fan yourself with it on a balmy evening. Here are three of our favorite options:
1) The Love! Trim away the vellum piece and place the “Love” card somewhere special, hang it on a wall, have it framed in solid gold.
2) Feather in Your Hat. Spice up that boring fedora with some swanky peacock colors.
3) Suit Pocket Flair. Same idea as above, but this time in your jacket.
4) Votive Candle Light! By far our favorite: form a triangle with the card and place an electric candle or votive tea light candle in the center. If you use a regular candle, be careful not to set the invitation ablaze — if you keep the candle in the center you should be good to go.
Invitations are sent!
After 2 months of design and production, countless revisions and thousands of cups of strong tea, we have completed and sent the glorious invitations. For a full weekend, our apartment looked like a mating ground for drunken peacocks. Behold the process!
